Patient & Clinic Policies
At EverWell Clinic – Lynnwood, we are committed to providing safe, respectful, timely, and high-quality medical care. The following policies help our physicians and staff provide efficient care to all patients.
Walk-In Visits
Walk-in patients are welcome Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, subject to physician availability and clinic capacity.
Walk-in availability may change during the day depending on patient volume. Patients with urgent or potentially life-threatening symptoms should call 911 or attend the nearest Emergency Department.
Appointments
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Patients who arrive late may need to wait, have a shortened visit where clinically appropriate, or reschedule their appointment.
Whenever possible, please advise our staff of the main reason for your visit when booking so that appropriate appointment time can be arranged.
Multiple or complex medical concerns may require more than one appointment to ensure each concern receives appropriate attention.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible so the appointment can be offered to another patient.
Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to an uninsured service fee where permitted.
Test Results
Please book an appointment if you would like to review or discuss your laboratory, imaging, pathology, or other test results with your physician.
The clinic will make reasonable efforts to contact patients when a physician determines that results require follow-up. However, patients are encouraged to take an active role in their care and arrange follow-up for investigations that have been completed.
Please do not assume that a result is normal because you have not been contacted.
Prescription Refills
Prescription renewals generally require an appointment so that your physician can review your condition, medication effectiveness, potential side effects, monitoring requirements, and whether the medication remains appropriate.
Please book your medication review before your prescription runs out.
The quantity and duration prescribed are determined by the treating physician based on the medication and your individual clinical circumstances.
Certain medications, including controlled substances, may require more frequent assessment and monitoring.
Referrals
Specialist referrals are made when clinically appropriate. Wait times are determined by the receiving specialist or healthcare facility and are generally outside the control of EverWell Clinic – Lynnwood.
If you have not received information regarding an expected referral within a reasonable period, please contact the clinic so that its status can be reviewed.
Forms, Letters & Other Uninsured Services
Alberta Health does not cover all medical services. Examples may include certain medical forms, insurance forms, employment or school forms, driver's medical examinations, transfer or copying of medical records, sick notes, and other administrative services.
Fees may apply to uninsured services and are the responsibility of the patient. Please contact the clinic for current fees.
Completion of forms and letters may require an appointment and adequate time for the physician to review the relevant medical information.

EverWell Clinic – Lynnwood respects your privacy and protects your personal health information in accordance with applicable Alberta privacy legislation and professional requirements.
Medical information will not ordinarily be released to third parties without appropriate patient authorization, except where disclosure is authorized or required by law.
